Our Executive Leadership Team
Sam Blank is certified as a conflict resolution specialist by the International Center for Cooperation and Conflict Resolution (ICCCR) and the State of New York. He holds multiple degrees in learning systems design from Columbia University and in communication theory from Hunter College, City University of New York. Sam has been an instructional designer and senior trainer for over 25 years and has been involved nationally and internationally in areas of negotiation and mediation, conflict resolution, communications and crisis management.
Professor Blank is a member of the faculty at the City University of New York's Borough of Manhattan Community College and has developed and taught graduate-level Crisis Management courses at Pace University. He is the co-author of “Stand and Deliver: High Impact Presentations” and was ranked the #1 Junior College Professor (2009-2010 and 2011-2012) in the United States by the website: ratemyprofessor.com.
His areas of expertise include Negotiation, Crisis Management, Communication Skills, Team Leadership Development, and Mediation.
Matthew Blank holds a Bachelors Degree from Muhlenberg College in Psychology. He earned his Masters Degree from Columbia University in Social-Organizational Psychology with a concentration in Conflict Resolution.
In addition, Matthew has also completed an Advanced Certificate in Cooperation and Conflict Resolution from the International Center for Cooperation and Conflict Resolution (ICCCR) at Columbia University.
His areas of expertise include Leadership Development, Change Management, Conflict Resolution, Team Building, Psychological Statistics, and Psychological Research.
Matthew has co-authored a four-year study with Dr. Kate Richmond on the possible correlations between Third Generation (3G) Holocaust Trauma and Feelings of Guilt and Implicit Anger.
